Coach Sales Associate (Part-Time) in McAllen, TX | $15.00–$19.25/hr | Luxury Retail Position
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and building lasting client relationships through personalized styling and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Source and cultivate new customer relationships, maintain ongoing communication, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales and build loyalty
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining elevated service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization and cleanliness; process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, managing product movement, and participating in inventory management systems
- Demonstrate high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously; adapt selling techniques to meet evolving business needs and customer preferences
- Collaborate with teammates across functional areas to foster a trust-based, inclusive environment; participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, mobile POS devices, and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop); familiarity with price sheets and release documentation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days; flexibility to accommodate public holidays
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience in retail, with luxury retail background preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends, competitive landscape awareness, and familiarity with fast-paced retail environments required. Prior experience with live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, and data-driven clienteling approaches is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and sales experience will be considered.
