Coach (La Plaza, McAllen, TX) seeks a part-time Sales Associate to deliver elevated, omnichannel luxury retail service at Coach.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front-line brand ambassador, consistently applying Coach’s Guide to Style and Service standards to every customer interaction.
- Build and cultivate lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and tailored recommendations.
- Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms — including short-form video and live demos — to capture customer data and convert repeat business.
- Process transactions and omnichannel fulfilment efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) while following POS and asset protection procedures.
- Execute daily store operations: cash wrap duties, inventory processing, receiving shipments, replenishment and basic visual merchandising.
- Maintain a high-energy sales floor: manage multiple customers, keep the sales floor and stockroom organized, and support store presentation standards.
- Support team performance by assisting across functional areas, participating in brand training initiatives and contributing to an inclusive, trust-based environment.
- Work a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven POS operation capability and basic computer literacy (iPad/laptop, mobile POS); ability to read price/release sheets.
- Ability to perform physical retail tasks regularly (lift 25 lbs; up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English proficiency required; excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Social-media savvy and prior exposure to live-stream shopping or video demos, clienteling and data acquisition are preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred. Combination of relevant education and experience accepted.

High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
