Coach Sales Associate position in Los Angeles, CA—frontline luxury retail role blending personalized client service, omni-channel sales, and store operations at The Grove location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain client relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to meet business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels on the sales floor and in stockroom; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage overall team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors as needed, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, mobile POS)
- Ability to read price and release sheets and operate walkie-talkies
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work at a fast pace and lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Preferred: luxury retail background, social media fluency, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling expertise, and data acquisition skills
