Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining elevated service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion advice
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and customized product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously and adapting techniques to business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service excellence
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization and cleanliness while adhering to retail policies and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates in functional areas as needed and foster collaborative team environments
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities to strengthen organizational culture
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors as needed, and maintain composure in fast-paced retail settings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail or fashion
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Familiarity with fashion trends and competitive landscape (preferred)
- Experience with walkie-talkies, price sheets, and release schedules
- Luxury retail background or social media proficiency (preferred)
- Experience with live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, or clienteling tools (preferred)
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail or the fashion industry. A combination of relevant education and practical retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and hands-on retail experience will be considered equivalent.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Lincoln City, Oregon, USA, with easy access to Portland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
