Coach Sales Associate III role in Leesburg, Virginia. Hourly retail position blending luxury service, omni-channel selling, and team collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video content) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to shifting business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining elevated service standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor and stockroom; follow all retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles through receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required and foster a collaborative, trust-based environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Maintain calm, professional demeanor and remain receptive to feedback
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail sales experience (luxury retail preferred)
- Knowledge of fashion trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and mobile POS platforms
- Demonstrated basic computer competency including iPad and laptop navigation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
- Physical capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom environments
- Luxury retail background (preferred)
- Experience with social media platforms, live-stream shopping, or video demonstrations (preferred)
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills (preferred)

Experience
Minimum one year of sales experience in a retail environment, with luxury retail background strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on familiarity with point-of-sale systems, mobile payment technologies, and omni-channel retail operations. Knowledge of fashion merchandising, trend awareness, and competitive retail dynamics is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or retail certification programs are advantageous but not required.

Compensation
