Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in Leeds, UK. Deliver elevated retail experiences, meet sales goals, and drive brand loyalty with flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; follow retail policies, POS, and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage strong team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS), and walkie-talkie operation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and peak trading periods
- Luxury retail background, social media proficiency, experience with livestream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred)
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience, with luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a high-volume environment. Experience with omni-channel retail operations and customer-facing technology platforms is advantageous.
Education
No specific formal education requirement stated; combination of relevant work experience and demonstrated fashion or retail knowledge is acceptable.

The base compensation for this position ranges from GBP 28,080 to GBP 30,000 per annum.
