The Sales Associate represents Coach on the sales floor, delivering personalized styling and service, driving sales and client loyalty, and supporting omnichannel selling and daily store operations. The role is part-time and requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, following the Coach Guide to Style and service standards.
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection procedures.
  • Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and online pickups efficiently.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement.
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities.
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS; walkie-talkie use; and ability to read price and release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling, and data acquisition skills.
  • Strong English language proficiency for the EU.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 19,500 to EUR 24,000 per annum.
