Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in Lake George, NY. Luxury retail role blending personalized service, omni-channel selling, and store operations. $15–$19.50/hr, part-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor
Qualifications
- One or more years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Familiarity with price sheets, release schedules, and retail communication tools such as walkie-talkies
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work flexibly including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Preferred: Luxury retail background, social media expertise, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling and data acquisition skills

One or more years of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail; knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
