Coach Temporary Sales Associate in Kobe, Japan – part-time retail position blending luxury service, omni-channel selling, and brand ambassador duties.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and stocked; follow retail policies and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Experience with POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays as required
