Coach in Kittery, ME seeks a part-time Sales Associate to deliver elevated luxury retail and omni-channel service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front‑line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards at all times.
- Cultivate and sustain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and attentive follow-up to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets via cross-selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture client data, facilitate transactions and promote omni‑channel conversion.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; track and meet KPIs and performance objectives.
- Perform routine store operations: manage cash wrap, process inventory, execute replenishment and basic visual merchandising to maintain selling standards.
- Process transactions efficiently across modalities (in‑store purchases, returns/exchanges, online order pickups).
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock merchandise and manage product flow between floor and stockroom.
- Maintain a clean, organized and secure sales floor and stockroom; comply with POS, asset protection and store policies.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; support teammates across functions and foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven proficiency with point‑of‑sale systems and basic computer skills (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with Mobile POS operation.
- Practical experience using clienteling tools and collecting client data to drive sales.
- Comfortable with social selling and live demonstration formats (live‑stream shopping / short‑form video) — preferred.
- Strong English language proficiency sufficient for customer-facing interactions and internal communication.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays as business needs require.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre within the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail or sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience is preferred. Demonstrated success meeting sales KPIs and using mobile POS/clienteling systems is highly desirable.
Education
No formal degree required; a combination of relevant education and retail/sales experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
