Coach Sales Associate (part-time) in Indianapolis, IN — retail role focused on luxury client service, omni‑channel selling and mobile POS.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
  • Build and nurture client relationships through product expertise, personalized styling, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business and lifetime value.
  • Execute omni-channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live demos) to capture customer data and convert sales.
  • Achieve individual and store KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and disciplined personal sales planning.
  • Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receipt and replenishment, and basic visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom while adhering to POS, asset-protection and retail policies.
  • Support inventory cycles and participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities.
  • Collaborate with teammates across functional areas and foster a trust-based, high-energy environment on the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven competency with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
  • Demonstrable ability to use clienteling tools, capture customer data and drive follow-up.
  • Comfortable using social selling channels and producing short-form video or live-stream shopping content (preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

At least one year of sales experience is required; candidates with luxury retail backgrounds and a demonstrated track record of meeting sales KPIs are preferred. Experience creating social selling content, conducting video demos or participating in live-stream commerce is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
