Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver elevated, client-focused service consistent with Coach’s luxury positioning, cultivating long-term relationships and repeat business through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets via consultative selling, strategic upselling and cross-selling of leather goods, accessories and ready-to-wear.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain boutique presentation to brand directives, including merchandising resets, product placement and window displays.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions and returns, manage cash handling and daily reconciliation in accordance with store policies.
- Support inventory control: receive stock, perform cycle counts, maintain back-of-house organization and liaise with store management on replenishment needs.
- Participate in loss-prevention practices and maintain awareness of store security protocols and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to team performance by sharing product knowledge, coaching junior colleagues and supporting store initiatives and promotional events.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service in a luxury or premium retail environment.
- Demonstrable sales results against individual targets and familiarity with performance metrics (KPIs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with high-value clientele.
- Ability to execute brand visual standards and attention to detail in merchandising and presentation.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and seasonal peak periods; reliable attendance.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of retail sales experience within luxury, premium or fashion brands; prior experience meeting sales targets and contributing to boutique KPIs. Experience mentoring peers or acting as a senior associate is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in fashion, retail or business is advantageous.
