Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service to high-net-worth and aspirational clients to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive prospecting, clienteling, and follow-up.
- Maintain elevated standards of visual merchandising and product presentation consistent with Coach brand directives.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, returns and exchanges, and daily cash reconciliation with strict adherence to procedures.
- Support inventory control activities, including receiving, replenishment, stock counts and shrinkage prevention.
- Coach and mentor less-experienced associates; model best practices in selling, clienteling and store operations.
- Contribute to store-opening/closing tasks and collaborate with store leadership on promotional events and client outreach.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of sales success in luxury retail or premium accessories.
- Demonstrable expertise in clienteling and relationship development with a client-first approach.
- Strong numeracy and integrity for accurate cash handling and inventory control.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
- Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills appropriate for a luxury brand environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of progressive experience in luxury or premium retail demonstrating consistent sales achievement; prior exposure to mentoring or informal leadership within a store is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, fashion, merchandising or a related field preferred.
