Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized client service and build long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through expert product knowledge and targeted selling techniques.
- Maintain boutique presentation to brand visual merchandising standards, including window displays, fixture styling and housekeeping.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process transactions, perform cash handling and reconcile sales at shift close.
- Manage inventory activities: receive, unpack, price, tag and replenish merchandise; participate in stock counts and loss-prevention measures.
- Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, appointment management and collaboration on promotional events.
- Coach and mentor junior team members when required; contribute to a collaborative, service-oriented team culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in retail sales, ideally within luxury, premium or fashion brands.
- Proven ability to meet sales objectives and cultivate repeat clients through relationship-driven selling.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by boutique operations.
- Professional presentation, strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (if based in the U.S.) or relevant country of employment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of direct retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a luxury or premium brand preferred. Experience in clienteling, achieving sales targets and working in boutique environments is highly desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training in retail, fashion or business is preferred.
