Coach in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a Sales Associate III (part-time) to deliver luxury retail service, omni‑channel selling and clienteling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated service in line with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and sustain client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to encourage repeat purchases.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Utilize Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and convert interactions to sales.
  • Execute personal sales plans, source new customers and convert leads through timely outreach.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers concurrently and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational duties including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising while maintaining brand service standards.
  • Process transactions efficiently (sales, returns, exchanges, online order pickups) and follow POS and asset-protection procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves, manage product movement and keep stockroom organized.
  • Assist teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.
  • Maintain a calm, professional demeanor; accept feedback and adapt behaviors to continuously improve performance.
  • Perform physical tasks required by the role, including regular lifting of at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending and kneeling.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
  • Familiarity with clienteling practices, data acquisition and CRM-style customer follow-up.
  • Social media literacy and experience with social selling, live-stream shopping or video demonstrations preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to perform stockroom and floor duties, including regular lifting and extended periods on foot.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
