Coach is hiring a Sales Associate II in New York, NY to deliver luxury client service and drive in-store sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, upselling, and cross-selling of product categories.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain visual merchandising and display standards to reflect brand aesthetics; assist with stock replenishment and inventory accuracy.
- Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, loss-prevention protocols and daily reporting.
- Collaborate with the store leadership team on CRM activities, client events, and local marketing initiatives to drive traffic and retention.
- Mentor and share product knowledge with less-experienced colleagues as required; contribute to a high-performance, service-driven store culture.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably 2+ years with a luxury or premium fashion brand.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a customer-facing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an aptitude for relationship-building and clienteling.
- Strong numeracy and cash-handling skills; reliable and accountable with regard to store procedures and loss-prevention.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Typically requires 2+ years of direct retail experience, ideally within a luxury, premium, or fashion environment, with proven sales performance and client-focused service delivery.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion, or related disciplines is advantageous.
