Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate II in Arvin, CA — deliver luxury retail service, drive omni-channel sales and build client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Provide personalized styling and product expertise to build lasting client relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Execute omni-channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social/short‑form video to capture client data and close sales.
  • Achieve individual and team KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and the development of personal sales plans.
  • Perform daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep sales floor and stockroom organised, and follow POS and asset‑protection procedures.
  • Source new customers and conduct timely follow-up to convert leads into sales.
  • Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative team environment and participate in brand initiatives and training.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computing devices (iPad/laptop); comfortable using mobile POS and walkie‑talkie.
  • Demonstrable clienteling and data acquisition skills; social media savvy with experience in short‑form video or live‑stream shopping preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience

Minimum of one year of sales experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury retail or high‑end fashion environments. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Arvin, California, USA, with easy access to Bakersfield.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
