Coach is hiring a Sales Associate I in Sunbury, Ohio. Deliver elevated luxury retail service and drive omni‑channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
  • Provide personalized styling and product expertise to cultivate long-term client relationships and loyalty.
  • Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and convert sales.
  • Prospect and source new customers, conduct follow-ups to close sales and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers concurrently and adapt selling approach to business needs.
  • Execute daily operational tasks—cash wrap, transaction processing, returns/exchanges, online order pickups—and uphold asset protection procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, process inventory, replenish stock and assist with visual merchandising standards.
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom organized and presentable; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, mandatory training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and continuously improve performance.
  • Comply with physical requirements including regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and routine climbing, bending and kneeling.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven competence with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); familiarity with Mobile POS systems.
  • Experience using clienteling tools, social selling channels or live-stream shopping is preferred.
  • Ability to read price/release sheets and use store communication devices (e.g., walkie-talkie).
  • Strong English proficiency required.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform repetitive physical tasks on the sales floor.

Experience

At least one year of retail or sales experience is required; previous luxury or fashion retail experience, clienteling and social selling experience are preferred.

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
