Coach is hiring a Sales Associate (part-time, temporary) in Houston, TX — deliver elevated luxury retail service and omnichannel selling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and sustain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat purchases and loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets via cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
  • Operate mobile POS and process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups.
  • Leverage clienteling tools, social selling platforms and short-form video to capture customer data, source new clients and support omnichannel sales.
  • Perform daily operational tasks: cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and receiving shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked sales floor and stockroom while adhering to POS, retail policies and asset protection procedures.
  • Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative team environment and participate in brand initiatives and training programs.
  • Adapt selling techniques to changing business needs, manage multiple customers on the floor and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); ability to read price/release sheets.
  • Familiarity with clienteling and data acquisition practices; social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury retail or high-end clienteling experience is preferred. Experience using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social/live-stream selling is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
