Coach Temporary Sales Associate, Hanover, Maryland – Drive luxury retail sales with personalized service, omni-channel expertise, and brand leadership.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, cultivate relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
  • Maintain high energy and engagement on the sales floor while managing multiple customers and adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
  • Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, merchandise replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the sales floor and stockroom in compliance with retail policies, POS protocols, and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
  • Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain professional composure in all situations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver in both sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Experience with social media, live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, clienteling, and data acquisition (preferred)
  • Physical capability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
