Coach seeks a Sales Associate in George Town, Penang to deliver luxury retail service and drive omnichannel sales at Gurney Plaza.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Provide personalized styling and product expertise to build lasting client relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream demonstrations) to capture client data and convert sales.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and efficient transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups).
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves, manage product movement and maintain a tidy, organized sales floor and stockroom.
- Adapt selling techniques to manage multiple customers and changing business needs while maintaining high energy and professional composure.
- Collaborate with teammates across functional areas, participate in brand initiatives and training programs, and foster a trust-based team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop).
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.

Minimum one year of sales experience required; prior luxury retail experience and familiarity with omnichannel selling and clienteling preferred. A combination of education and professional experience will be considered.
