Coach Sales Associate III position in Garden City, New York. Part-time luxury retail role emphasizing personalized customer service, sales targets, and omni-channel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection requirements
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer competency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS), walkie-talkie operation, and ability to read pricing and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends, competitor positioning, and strong understanding of omni-channel retail operations. Preferred experience includes social media engagement, live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, and data-driven clienteling practices.
