Coach seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Freeport, Maine to deliver luxury retail service and drive omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering personalised, elevated service consistent with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and convert opportunities across channels.
- Execute daily operational duties: cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receipt and replenishment, and basic visual merchandising.
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant sales floor and stockroom; follow POS, asset-protection and retail policy procedures.
- Support team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas, participating in trainings and contributing to brand initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and mobile devices (iPad/laptop); comfortable using walkie-talkies and reading price/release sheets.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre within sales floor and stockroom environments.
- Social media literacy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demos, clienteling and basic data acquisition (preferred).
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Freeport, Maine, USA, with easy access to Portland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
