Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Elizabeth, New Jersey (Jersey Gardens) to deliver luxury retail service and drive omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling, product expertise, and tailored recommendations to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Execute omnichannel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture data and close sales.
- Meet and exceed individual and store KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and the development of personal sales plans.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory processing and replenishment.
- Maintain high-floor standards: keep sales floor and stockroom organized and visually on-brand; support visual merchandising and product movement.
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and assisting with stock counts; follow POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Collaborate with teammates, assist across functional areas as needed and participate in brand initiatives, trainings and inclusion activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient with POS operation and basic computer use (iPad/laptop) and comfortable using mobile POS and walkie-talkies.
- Demonstrable clienteling and data-acquisition skills; social-media savvy with experience in live-stream shopping or product video demos is a plus.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and maneuver in a busy retail environment.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail or sales experience; prior experience in luxury fashion or high-end retail environments is preferred and will be viewed favorably.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or training in retail, fashion or customer service is a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
