Coach seeks a Sales Associate in Elizabeth, NJ — front-line retail role at Jersey Gardens delivering personalized luxury service and omni-channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized customer service consistent with Coach standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through product expertise, personalized styling and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Drive revenue through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; meet or exceed individual and store KPIs and personal sales plans.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video and live-stream shopping) to capture client data and facilitate omni‑channel transactions.
  • Perform daily operational tasks: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage inventory cycles, receive shipments, replenish stock and support visual merchandising.
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization and adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
  • Support teammates across functional areas and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing store environment.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behavior to evolving business needs.
  • Maintain a high-energy presence on the floor; manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to peak periods and business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience operating POS systems and mobile POS (iPad/laptop); comfortable with basic computer tasks and walkie‑talkie communications.
  • Demonstrable clienteling skills and ability to acquire and leverage customer data.
  • Social media savvy with experience in live‑stream shopping or video demonstrations preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in English (oral and written).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform frequent bending, climbing and kneeling on the sales floor.

Experience

Minimum of 1+ year of retail or sales experience; luxury retail background preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
