Coach Sales Associate position in Edmonton, Alberta. Full-time retail role offering luxury brand experience, competitive hourly rate ($15.50–$20.00 CAD), and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining brand integrity
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and strategic product recommendations based on client needs
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling platforms, and social selling tools (including short-form video content) to capture customer data and encourage repeat business
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain proactive client relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Manage energy and efficiency on the sales floor while juggling multiple customers and adapting techniques to business priorities
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and stock levels in compliance with retail policies and asset protection protocols
- Process retail transactions efficiently—including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking merchandise, and managing product rotation
- Collaborate with teammates across functional areas and foster a supportive, trust-based environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, mandatory training programs, and inclusion activities
- Demonstrate flexibility, receptiveness to feedback, and professional composure in high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of professional sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS platforms)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment with demanding customer service standards
- Physical capability to lift and carry merchandise regularly (up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, peak season periods, and designated retail holidays
- Preferred: luxury retail background, social media proficiency, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling expertise, and customer data acquisition skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of professional sales experience in a retail environment, with luxury retail preferred. Knowledge of fashion industry trends, competitor positioning, and omni-channel retail practices is advantageous. Experience using POS terminals, mobile sales tools, clienteling software, and social selling platforms is highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment; additional formal education in fashion, retail management, or business is advantageous but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 15.50 to CAD 20 per hour.
