Coach Edinburgh seeks a Temporary Sales Associate (24 hours) to deliver luxury retail service and drive sales. GBP £28,080–£30,000 annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion advice
  • Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and personalized recommendations aligned with customer preferences
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans while meeting or exceeding individual and team KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and conduct follow-up communications to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers and adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap procedures, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising maintenance
  • Ensure sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and stock availability while adhering to retail policies and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently across purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
  • Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors responsively, and maintain professional composure

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail with demonstrated fashion trend awareness and competitive market knowledge
  • Proficiency with POS systems and mobile technology (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS platforms)
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Luxury retail background, social media fluency, and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred)
  • Proven clienteling and customer data acquisition skills (preferred)
