Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to brand standards and the Coach Guide to Style and Service
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations aligned with customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video content) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain ongoing relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, merchandise replenishment, and visual presentation while maintaining service standards
- Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product flow
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support overall store performance
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors and approaches, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems, mobile POS platforms, iPads, laptops, and walkie-talkie devices
- Ability to read price sheets and product release information accurately
- Strong English language proficiency
- Social media expertise and familiarity with live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, and clienteling tools (preferred)
- Experience with data acquisition and customer relationship management systems (preferred)
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, peak seasonal periods, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Skills
Experience
1 to 2 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail environments. Knowledge of fashion trends and familiarity with competitor offerings are essential. Experience with POS systems and digital selling tools is required. A combination of education and relevant sales experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or retail certifications are a plus but not required.
