Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service and delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product knowledge, and proactive follow-up to secure repeat business.
- Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream demonstrations) to capture customer data and convert opportunities.
- Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap, receive shipments, replenish stock and support inventory cycles.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and compliant with asset protection procedures.
- Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative team environment and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.
- Adapt selling approach to high-volume periods and manage multiple customers while maintaining professional composure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency with POS operations and mobile devices (iPad/laptop); experience with mobile POS and clienteling platforms.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Social media savvy with experience or comfort in short-form video, live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in sales floor and stockroom environments.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail or sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail, omni-channel selling or clienteling is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proven sales results, customer relationship development and comfort using digital selling tools.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or college coursework in retail, fashion, merchandising or a related field is preferred.
