Coach Sales Associate in Daejeon, Korea. Full-time luxury retail role focusing on personalized customer service, omni-channel selling, and brand representation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, maintaining adherence to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build and nurture lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and contemporary fashion advice
- Drive sales revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source and acquire new customers; maintain ongoing relationships and execute follow-up activities to close sales
- Maintain high energy and engagement on the retail floor while managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously; adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap procedures, inventory processing, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels in sales floor and stockroom areas; ensure compliance with retail policies, POS protocols, and asset protection procedures
- Process all transaction types efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
- Provide support to teammates across functional areas as operational requirements demand
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and actively encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion-focused activities
- Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably within a luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS applications)
- Demonstrated ability to operate walkie-talkie communication systems and interpret price and product release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, seasonal peaks, and high-traffic retail periods (including public holidays)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of professional sales experience required, with luxury retail background strongly preferred. The ideal candidate brings demonstrable knowledge of current fashion trends, competitor positioning, and an understanding of customer service excellence within a luxury context. Prior exposure to social media platforms, live-stream shopping, video product demonstrations, and data-driven clienteling methodologies is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant sales experience and education will be considered in lieu of formal educational credentials.
