Coach in New York seeks a Temporary Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and support in-store sales and merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver elevated, client-focused service consistent with Coach brand standards, cultivating long-term client relationships and repeat business
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling and personalised product recommendations
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and manage cash handling procedures
- Execute visual merchandising, store presentation and replenishment to maintain on-brand displays and inventory availability
- Support stockroom operations, receive and organise deliveries, and assist with inventory counts and loss-prevention measures
- Participate in promotional events, product launches and store initiatives, working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and peak periods
- Adhere to company policies, security procedures and local regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience; prior experience in premium or luxury retail strongly preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client-centric demeanour
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday periods
- Proven reliability, strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Right to work in the United States (if hiring in the U.S.) and ability to perform physical tasks associated with retail operations
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ year of retail sales experience is preferred; experience within luxury or premium brands is an advantage. Seasonal or temporary retail experience welcomed.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in retail, fashion or business is a plus but not required.
