Coach Sales Associate — Part-time, temporary retail position in Clinton, Connecticut. Drive luxury brand loyalty and sales through personalized client service, $15–$19.50/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and stocked in accordance with retail policies and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves, and manage product movement
  • Assist teammates in various functional areas as required
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail experience preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or specialized training in fashion, retail management, or customer service is beneficial but not required.
