Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in Clinton, Connecticut. Part-time retail role at Clinton Crossing delivering luxury client service and omni-channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through product expertise, personalized styling and follow-up to encourage repeat purchases.
  • Drive sales performance by cross-selling, upselling and executing individual sales plans to meet or exceed personal and store KPIs.
  • Operate mobile POS and complete efficient transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups).
  • Leverage clienteling tools, social selling platforms and short-form video to capture customer data and drive omni-channel conversion.
  • Perform daily store operations including cash wrap, inventory receipt and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and asset-protection procedures.
  • Maintain a high-energy sales floor presence, manage multiple customers concurrently and adapt selling techniques to changing business needs.
  • Support inventory cycles, stockroom organization and product movement; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience considered.
  • Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); familiarity with mobile POS, clienteling tools and walkie-talkie use.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in sales floor and stockroom environments.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience

At least one year of customer-facing sales experience; prior luxury or fashion retail experience and familiarity with clienteling and social/live‑stream selling are preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
