Coach in Chongqing seeks a Sales Associate to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni-channel sales at Chongqing Starlight 68.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
- Build and deepen client relationships through expert product knowledge, personalised styling and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by cross-selling, upselling and executing tailored recommendations.
- Leverage omni-channel tools — mobile POS, clienteling platforms and social selling (including short-form video) — to capture customer data and convert online engagements into sales.
- Manage day-to-day store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), maintain cash wrap and follow POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, process inventory, replenish the sales floor and maintain an organised stockroom.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain high presentation and service levels across the sales floor.
- Adapt selling techniques to multiple customers and shifting business needs while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour.
- Participate in training, brand initiatives and inclusion activities; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs and execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad, laptop); experience using Mobile POS and walkie-talkies.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Social media savvy; experience with live-stream shopping, short-form video or video demos preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Customer-focused, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year in sales, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury retail; experience in omni-channel selling, clienteling and social/live-stream commerce is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
