Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Associate to serve as a front-line brand ambassador in a luxury retail environment. The role requires delivering elevated, personalized shopping experiences, meeting personal and store sales goals, and supporting daily operations through omni-channel selling and client relationship management. The successful candidate will blend sophisticated product knowledge with agile sales techniques, utilizing POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to drive brand loyalty and revenue within a fast-paced retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and stock levels; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS), walkie-talkie use, and ability to read price and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Social media savvy and familiarity with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition experience
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitor landscape
- Ability to work flexibly in a high-paced retail environment
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience required, preferably within luxury retail. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building sustained client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. A combination of relevant education and sales experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Chesterfield, Missouri, USA, with easy access to St. Louis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
