Coach Temporary Sales Associate in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Part-time role combining luxury retail service, omni-channel selling, and customer relationship management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion advice
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and data-informed product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the sales floor and stockroom; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as needed to support store operations
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage collective performance
- Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
- Demonstrate openness to feedback, adaptability, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and mobile point-of-sale technology
- Basic computer competency with iPad, laptop, and mobile POS devices
- Familiarity with walkie-talkie use and ability to read price and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule accommodating nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background strongly preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends, competitive retail offerings, and omni-channel selling approaches is essential. Experience with live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, or social media-driven sales is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, fashion, or customer service training is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
