Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in Chengdu (Chengdu IFS) to deliver luxury client service, drive omni‑channel sales and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and nurture lasting client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and fashion advice.
- Drive revenue through cross-selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling channels (including short-form video and live-stream) to capture client data and stimulate repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; proactively source new customers and follow up to close sales.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs.
- Execute daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep sales floor and stockroom organised and stocked; follow POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Support inventory cycles, stock movement and stock accuracy initiatives.
- Assist teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and contribute to team performance.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and basic digital devices (iPad/laptop) and to use walkie-talkies; able to read price/release sheets.
- Demonstrable clienteling skills and experience acquiring client data.
- Social-media savvy with experience or comfort in short-form video and live-stream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred).
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain professional composure under pressure.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.

Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail, omnichannel selling and clienteling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail training or a combination of education and relevant sales experience will be considered.
