Coach Sales Associate - Temporary, Part-Time Role in Centralia, WA. Drive luxury retail sales with omni-channel expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, comprehensive product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, cultivate relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers concurrently, and adapt selling techniques to meet evolving business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap processing, inventory management, merchandise replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor and stockroom; adhere to all retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain composure and professionalism in all situations
Qualifications
- One or more years of sales experience in luxury retail or comparable environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS platforms
- Familiarity with walkie-talkie use and ability to read price sheets and release documentation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom environments
Skills
Experience
One or more years of sales experience in luxury retail or comparable setting; familiarity with fashion retail operations, product knowledge, and customer service excellence preferred. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal degree requirement specified.
