Coach Sales Associate II position in Carmel, California. Part-time luxury retail role offering $15.00–$24.25/hour with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid family leave.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador while adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice tailored to customer needs
  • Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and store-level KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers and adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
  • Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service excellence
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom organized and stocked; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support team objectives
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage collective performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback constructively and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all circumstances

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, and mobile POS platforms
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced retail environments
  • Capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
