The Sales Associate serves as a front-line brand ambassador for Coach, delivering elevated and personalized shopping experiences whilst meeting individual and store sales targets. This role integrates luxury retail service with omni-channel selling and team collaboration to drive brand loyalty and revenue through consultative selling, client relationship-building, and operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining the brand's inclusive ethos
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, fashion advice, and comprehensive product expertise
  • Drive sales growth through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on client needs
  • Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms—including short-form video content—to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, cultivate relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to evolving business requirements
  • Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently across all channels: purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking merchandise, and managing product movement
  • Provide assistance to teammates across functional areas as needed to support store operations
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and actively encourage team performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback constructively, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain composure in fast-paced retail scenarios

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail experience preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fashion trends, competitor offerings, and market positioning
  • Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and mobile point-of-sale technology
  • Basic computer literacy including iPad and laptop operation
  • Ability to read price sheets, product release information, and inventory documentation
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays

Experience

Minimum 1+ years of professional sales experience, preferably within luxury retail environments. Prior exposure to omni-channel retail operations, clienteling practices, and digital sales tools is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional fashion, business, or retail-focused education is a plus but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
