Coach Sales Associate position in Bluffton, South Carolina; part-time luxury retail role offering $15.00–$19.50/hr with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Manage multiple customers simultaneously on the sales floor while adapting selling techniques to evolving business needs
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization while adhering to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support store operations
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and contribute to team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain professional composure in fast-paced retail settings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred
- Experience with POS systems, basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, mobile platforms), and walkie-talkie communication
- Ability to read price sheets and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience required; luxury retail background strongly preferred. Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape is essential. Preferred experience includes social media engagement, live-stream shopping facilitation, video content creation, and clienteling data acquisition.
Education
