Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Bloomington, MN (Mall of America) to deliver luxury retail service, omni-channel selling and clienteling skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through one-to-one styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat visitation and loyalty.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans and KPIs.
  • Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools, social selling and short-form video to capture client data and convert engagements.
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups while following POS and asset protection procedures.
  • Support daily store operations: receive shipments, perform inventory processing, replenish stock, maintain the cash wrap and organize the stockroom.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards to maintain an on-brand sales floor presentation and product availability.
  • Source new customers on the sales floor and via digital touchpoints; adapt selling techniques to fluctuating store traffic and business needs.
  • Participate in brand trainings, inclusion initiatives and store-level projects; provide and accept constructive feedback to improve performance.
  • Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based environment that encourages team performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience operating POS systems and mobile POS; basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop).
  • Proven clienteling skills and the ability to capture and act on client data.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Capacity to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and work on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • Social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping, short-form video or video demos (preferred).
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Experience

Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in luxury or premium retail environments and demonstrated success meeting sales targets.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, merchandising or customer service coursework is a plus.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
