Coach Sales Associate position in Beachwood, Ohio. Luxury retail role blending personalized customer service, omni-channel selling, and store operations. Base pay $15.00–$19.50/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and luxury retail service expectations
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, comprehensive product expertise, and fashion guidance
  • Drive sales revenue through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video content) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain ongoing relationships, and execute timely follow-ups to close sales
  • Maintain high energy and adaptability on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously
  • Execute daily operational responsibilities including cash wrap procedures, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom organization, cleanliness, and adequate stock levels while adhering to all retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
  • Assist teammates across all functional areas as needed to support store performance
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage strong colleague performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
  • Remain receptive to feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain composure in challenging situations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, mobile POS platforms, and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, walkie-talkie operation)
  • Ability to read price sheets and product release information accurately
  • Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Experience with social media, live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, or clienteling platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with data acquisition and customer relationship management tools (preferred)

Experience

Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a retail environment, with luxury retail experience preferred. Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced retail settings, manage multiple customer interactions, and adapt selling techniques to meet evolving business needs.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. A combination of relevant sales experience and customer service training may be considered in lieu of formal education.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
