Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in Aurora, Illinois to deliver luxury retail service, drive sales, and support omni-channel operations at Chicago Premium Outlets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on client needs
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up systematically to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple concurrent customers and adapting techniques to business priorities
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; adhere to retail policies, POS protocols, and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups)
  • Support inventory cycles including receipt and stocking of shipments and management of product movement
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required to meet store objectives
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
  • Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback constructively, adapt behaviors as needed, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail environments
  • Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, mobile POS)
  • Demonstrated ability to use two-way radios and interpret price sheets and release documentation
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Physical capability to lift minimum 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays

Experience
