Coach Sales Associate position in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Full-time retail sales role offering $15–$19.50/hr, benefits, and career development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers and adapting selling techniques
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels while adhering to retail policies and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist team members across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain composure in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in retail, preferably luxury retail
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, and mobile POS
- Ability to interpret price sheets and release documentation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver retail and stockroom environments
Skills
Experience
Sales experience of 1+ years in retail environments; luxury retail background is preferred. A combination of relevant education and hands-on sales experience will be considered. Exposure to social media, live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, and clienteling best practices is advantageous.
