Coach hiring a Part-time Sales Associate in Auburn Hills, MI (Great Lakes Crossing) to deliver elevated luxury retail service and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised service consistent with the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and the execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
  • Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream formats) to acquire data and close sales.
  • Maintain selling floor energy, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Perform daily operational duties including cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and online order fulfilment.
  • Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, organised and stocked while following POS, retail policies and asset-protection procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles and assist teammates across functional areas to foster a collaborative, trust-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile devices (iPad/laptop/Mobile POS); familiarity with clienteling tools and basic retail technology.
  • Comfortable with social selling activities, including short-form video, live-stream shopping and video demos (preferred).
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency and the capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail sales experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury or fashion retail and who have demonstrated clienteling, omni‑channel selling and basic POS/device proficiency.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail, fashion or sales is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, with easy access to Detroit.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
