Coach in Asheville, NC (Asheville Outlets) seeks a Part‑time Temporary Sales Associate to deliver elevated client service and drive omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a frontline ambassador, consistently delivering Coach’s Guide to Style and Service and an elevated, personalized shopping experience.
- Build and sustain client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to capture customer data and convert engagements into sales.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and adapting selling techniques to shifting business needs.
- Perform daily operational duties: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves and manage product movement between sales floor and stockroom.
- Maintain a clean, organized and well‑stocked sales floor and stockroom while following POS, retail policies and asset protection procedures.
- Collaborate with teammates, participate in brand initiatives and training, and contribute to a trust‑based, high‑performance team environment.
- Accept and act on feedback; demonstrate professionalism and composure in busy retail conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven competency with POS operation and basic computer tools (iPad, laptop) and familiarity with mobile POS workflows.
- Experience using clienteling tools, social selling platforms, short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to read price/release sheets and use store communications equipment such as walkie‑talkies.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; able to climb, bend and maneuver in a sales floor and stockroom environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 1+ years in sales, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury or premium retail environments; demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs and develop client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or retail coursework preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
