Coach Sales Associate position in Arvin, California. Luxury retail role blending personalized service, omni-channel selling, and store operations with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and uphold the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, cultivate relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy and focus on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist team members across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative and trust-based team environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Maintain professional composure and adapt behaviors based on feedback
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, mobile POS)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
1+ years of retail sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors required. Familiarity with social media, live-stream shopping, or video demonstrations is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and sales experience will be considered.

This position is based in Arvin, California, USA, within easy reach of Bakersfield.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
