Coach in Altoona, IA seeks a Part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and drive sales at the outlet location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Provide personalized styling, product expertise and fashion advice to build lasting client relationships and brand loyalty.
- Drive sales through effective cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert interactions into repeat purchases.
- Manage transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and follow POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Support daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.
- Source new customers and perform timely follow-up to close sales; assist teammates across functional areas as needed.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviours to maintain a professional demeanour.
- Perform regular physical duties including lifting up to 25 lbs (regularly) and up to 50 lbs occasionally; climbing, bending and kneeling to manage stock and displays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable proficiency operating POS systems and mobile POS devices; basic computer literacy (iPad/laptop).
- Ability to read price and release sheets and follow retail procedures.
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Social media savvy; experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling and data acquisition preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced retail environment and collaborate within a team.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of sales experience is required; prior luxury retail or outlet experience preferred. Candidates with experience in clienteling, social selling, live-stream shopping or demonstrated success meeting sales KPIs will be advantaged.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
