Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Altoona, Iowa — deliver luxury clienteling, omni-channel selling and store operations at Coach Outlet.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the frontline ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Provide elevated, personalized styling and product advice to build lasting client relationships and loyalty.
- Drive individual and store sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations to meet personal and team KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms — including short-form video — to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and proactively source and convert new customers; follow up to close sales.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and adapting selling techniques to business needs.
- Execute daily operational tasks: cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising, while preserving service standards.
- Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups) and adhere to POS and asset protection procedures.
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement between floor and stockroom.
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviors professionally.
- Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending and kneeling.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); able to follow price/release sheets.
- Demonstrated clienteling ability and data acquisition skills; social media savvy with experience in short-form video, live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- English language proficiency sufficient for customer service and internal communication.
- Capable of performing physical store duties including regular lifting and stockroom activity.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience; prior luxury or premium fashion retail experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered; formal retail or fashion education is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
